European tour support - RM Hubbert www.rmhubbert.com/Seems Stuart appears on his next album too. The book version of his 'First and Last ' album from this year is a lovely thing. Solidly good record too.

Hi folks, According to Les Zindés, Mogwai will play "few shows" in UK on the movie 'Zidane: A 20th Century Portrait, after the next 6 touring months. And if feedbacks are good, more shows around the world ? >" Stuart : Ah si, on va faire une série de concerts joués par dessus le film « Zidane, un portrait du XXI° siècle »... On va commencer en Angleterre, d’ici six mois, et peut être si les retours sont bons, on va étaler les autres concerts sur un an et demi. Comme on a pas quatre-vingt dix minutes de musique, il va falloir certainement faire des arrangements supplémentaires… Bref, on verra…" Here is the link...for francophones, s'il vous plaît : www.leszindeructibles.com/2010/12/14/mogwai-linterview/Didn't know if somebody will or have post this on BL! Forum, so the new is a lil' bit "old", a week. Nice day everybody !

I'm now unable to go to Paisley Town Hall gig due to a Christmas present and I'm wondering if anyone is able to swap 2 Grand Ole Opry tickets for 2 Paisley ones?
Please get in touch by private message if you're interested.

Hey hey Never actually posted on here before despite lurking for many years. Mogwai fan(atic) since 1998. Seen them many times over the years and then moved from the UK to New Zealand. Great idea for many reasons, really bad idea for one = no Mogwai in NZ for over 10 years. I missed them in Aus a few years ago which I now regret so after deliberation and a realisation that turning 30 next month should preclude me from this type of behaviour in the future I made a decision. So I got flights out to the US and will be following them down the west coast for a week with a bit of a road trip. Have tickets to San Fran, LA and San Diego. Probably going to get Seattle tickets too if available and I have any spare money for the flights. I think that's probably the most I'll have spent on Mogwai in one go, including the new box set postage costs . If anyone else is going drop me a line. And if the band are reading please come to NZ as well!

welcome fellow kiwi. i obviously agree that getting the band to play in NZ again would be immense. i nearly went to that first and only gig in '99, but 'twas a poor student who was living in the wrong island back then. i went to australia in 2009 for the hawk tour, and it was great - the reality is that we down here have to travel to see them, which is unfortunate. i had seen them 5 or so times in the UK previously. tough to beat mogwai live. going all the way to the US is dedication!
come on mogwai, come back, and try to set a new noise record for the venue you played at last time - how hard can 132 dB be to beat!?!

ChemU have stated this afternoon that RM Hubbert is doing the Dublin and Galway shows. Factory Floor only have the Belfast show listed on their MySpace. Curious.

Mogwai's US tour starts in Washington on 19th April
Coachella 15th - 17th April
Too much of a coincidence?

Mogwai's US tour starts in Washington on 19th April Coachella 15th - 17th April Too much of a coincidence? hmm that wouldn't be too much of a surprise if they do Coachella in April since their L.A. date is actually in May. i think the promoters of Coachella still have some rule that any band that plays Coachella can't do a headlining show in L.A. 2 weeks before and after Coachella.

damn quick! Two superb bands in a great venue. If anyone got lucky and has a spare, let me know! Ditto here. I will (seriously) debase myself for your and others' pleasure if anyone has a spare for the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen gig. See! I can't believe I missed out. I would've seen the Facebook message but my phone was flat this morning. Why do 'smart phones' only last about 12 hours before going flat?!? Anyway, I will be seeing them twice in February but the chance to see them in a little venue is just too good to ignore. PM me! ;D

They posted yesterday at 10:19. www.facebook.com/mogwaiSo, you have to collect tickets from the venue with the card used, so presumably there are tickets out there bought by touts that they will struggle to offload now. Does that mean the venue will be half empty or full of touts, their friends and family?

Does that mean the venue will be half empty or full of touts, their friends and family? I was wondering that, too. It might be that returns are available, or at least genuine folk who have people who can't turn up looking to offload a ticket. Might be worth a shot?

Out of curiosity, I emailed ATP to check on the returns hope/idea I had in my head for the Hoxton gig and they said that there won't be a system in place for this. Shame.
