Do you think we'll see any more live UK shows this year? (apart from Edinburgh in March) I'd put good money on the only UK indoor shows for the rest of 2014 being big-venue London/Manchester/Glasgow shows towards the end of the year. Haven't they already pretty much confirmed they're playing Bestival and Festival No.6?

Also there aren't any plans at present to do another Uk tour at present though that doesn't mean that might not change further down the line. Cheers Stuart

I thought I'd heard an interview at some point where those two festivals had been mentioned. Disappointing to hear there are no plans for further UK indoor dates. Hopefully that will change.

Singapore set list thanks to @othersounds who replied to my tweet. Have a look at their video of head dancing to Batcat I feel sorry for my lovely mate who was visiting Singapore this weekend and planning to go to the gig as part of his birthday celebrations but couldn't convince the rest of his party to fork out festival prices ..

Hooray - I've found my bl! badge. Now I wonder if I'll bump into any of you on Saturday.... I'll be hot footing it from Murrayfield, so I don't expect that I'll be down the front. And I probably won't be the only person wearing a Scotland rugby shirt.

I'll be there yelobeli, will try to remember my badge this time. Got standing tickets too. I'm not particularly distinctive but Mr RF has brown/dark blond hair in a ponytail which tends to mark him out these days. Oh and glasses. Do say hello if you see us! Oh and if any of the fellas read this a cheeky ask: any chance of playing no medicine for regret? ('m trying to work out if it has too many keyboard parts to play live...?) And finally - you're welcome Rob :-)

Just seen the latitude announcement ... Sadly will be on holiday so it's not an option for us. Still if it's the 6 music stage there should be radio coverage of it (and good promo for the band)

We didn't play Ithica. We also had to cut Deesh due to Barry's Juno having a meltdown.

Ah that's a shame, I was wondering if that's what happened as Luke looked poised to do the extra drumming on Deesh. Even without that (which I love) I thought last night's set was fantastic. Also loved the enthusiastic crowd, which included a fair bit of hands in the air, clapping along to Remurdered (!?) and some dancing. As I hoped it was good to stand up for a change. What a beautiful venue too - I listened to Helicon 1 whilst looking up at the ceiling :-) Overall the sound was bang on but I would have liked to hear more bass on Remurdered. That's just a minor grumble though. Was tickled by the way the rest of the fellas were waiting for John to look their way whilst he was lost in a feedback noise of his own making...at the start of We're no here IIRC.

I've been spoiled over the last three months. Cambridge, RFH and Usher Hall. All great gigs in superb venues and I've been right at the front for all three. Last night was the pick of the bunch. The sound was amazing - even with earplugs I've still got a bit of ringing now (well I was about 6 feet from the speaker stack...). The crowd were great - in absolute rapture - and the clapping (I also think it was Remurdered) was a new element). Somehow the songs from Rave Tapes and Young Team blend really well into a set - but then I also have to say that Batcat was as good as I've ever heard it. Stuart was at his destructive best in the encores. I'm not particularly tempted by any of the festivals I've seen announced so far, so unless Mogwai are announced as an addition to End of the Road, it might be the last time I'll see a predominantly Rave Tapes set. They've been pretty special.

I agree - best gig of 4 I've been to on this tour as well*. Batcat was immense. I didn't care by this point and stood with my arms the air like I was at church, well not any that I went to growing up as a catholic actually but I hope you get my drift ... It wasn't that I'd forgotten which song there was clapping in, actually my (?!)denoted surprise!
Re: festivals I think there might be some more announcements and I would love it if No.6 was one of them.
*but the socialising after RFH makes it a a joint equal in terms of overall enjoyment of the night)!

Hi folks, new member emerging from lurking, just wanted to say how fantastic the Usher Hall gig was too, my ears eventually stopped ringing come Monday morning, it certainly felt louder than the CC gig in Glasgow, which was also superb, I'm jealous of all those who still have gigs in this tour to look forward too Regards, Mark

www.glidemagazine.com/115399/mogwai-leaps-ahead-rave-tapes-interview/Nothing too notable beyond this comment: "It’s probably impossible for us to recall songs we haven’t played in three or four years without a lot of rehearsing. We always have to sit and listen to the old records together to remember what parts we played. Recently we tried this with a song called “Ratts of The Capital” and we couldn’t get it together at all."

Know it´s a late call...But due to unforseen circumstances I will not be able to attend the Gothenburg concert on the 23rd of March, so if anyway wants a ticket for a face value price, I´m willing to sell it. 350 Swedish KR or 40 Euros.
Hopefully still will be able to attend the Stockholm concert, fingers crossed. Been waiting for these concerts since November, 1 is still very good then none ofcourse.
