Can't believe it's already 10 years since John Peel died. I can remember exactly where I was when I heard the news on the radio in the car. Sadly missed.
I wonder what he'd make of the state of the music industry now. I wonder which bands he'd have given a leg-up to over the last 10 years.

I wish I lived in the UK to get a hold of how he was. I'm sure I could've gotten it here too but his death was definitely a big blow for many many many people in the UK. I think it was Martin Bulloch who told a story when he attended the funeral when they played "Teenage Kicks". And when it was played the mass of fans outside started to sing loudly. And when Feargal Sharkey started to realise this it was just too much for him.
