It's done. Just waiting to see if the ilovebarry wants anything more added/corrected on info file (such as his/her name). Once confirmed I'll put it on mega.nz for anyone who wants it and also on dime for those there.
Here is the info as it currently stands: Mogwai 02 Academy, Brixton, London 2017-12-15
Lineage: internl mics > H1 Zoom > PC > Audacity (fade at end) > wav > CD Wave > TLH > flac > you
Setlist: 01 Crossing the Road Material (partial) 02 I'm Jim Morrison, I'm Dead 03 Party in the Dark 04 Killing All the Flies 05 Rano Pano 06 Battered at a Scramble 07 Ithica 27ø9 08 Don't Believe the Fife 09 Friend of the Night 10 Mogwai Fear Satan 11 Remurdered 12 Old Poisons 13 Encore: 14 Every Country's Sun 15 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong 16 We're No Here
Info: Taped by ilovebarry and shared as a wave file on the bright light Mogwai forum. I simply tracked and flacced it for the taper to share. All thanks to them. Most of the first song missed due to recorder issues.

Other potentially pertinent info that comes to mind:
Was internal mic Roughly level with the desk and the PA stack on Alex's side of the stage (stage right)
I'll go with the forum username, yeah. My taping career is mostly just to keep a personal record in any case.
Re: the Cov one, if you want me to I can upload that - but it seems there are others knocking around. I tend to keep the source files as well as the output from Audacity, so might have the original for people to play with. If not, it's likely to just be trimmed/faded and compressed - getting the gain right can be difficult, and I'm still on the learning curve with taping. If anyone is in the know on this sort of stuff and wants to direct me to decent resources, then I'll take that on board. Otherwise I'll just amble along with my Zoom.
Suppose it makes sense to invite PMs if anyone wants any of my other (non-Mogwai) recordings.

Re: the Cov one, if you want me to I can upload that - but it seems there are others knocking around. Yours is the fourth recording of that show I'm aware of. Whereabouts were you in the venue? Could well be worth hearing if you were in a decent spot.

Likewise, thanks for doing the leg work for me with this.
I have just found the source file for Cov, which is good because I have definitely done some audio tampering to the copy I sent to mates. It sounds more lively, but the file is somehow much smaller. I'll trim the chat off the beginning and end and upload both tomorrow. The quality is in the same ball park as Brixton.
They would be up now, but Christmas stuff is in the way unfortunately!

Captured last night, and will hopefully get tomorrow too. Reasonable quality, but it seemed quieter than other Mogwai shows I've seen so there's a fair bit of chatter, and also bits of my coat rustling in places which is frustrating.
I'll get round to uploading that other stuff that I said I'd do before Xmas - busy time.

Hi all, Both Albert Hall shows here. Same equipment as before, with just the beginning and end chopped in Audacity. Internal mic > Zoom H1 > Audacity > WAV. Friday was by the craft bar at the back on the right. Sunday was the same side but by the mixing desk. Friday: we.tl/dIVjpNMn82Sunday: we.tl/ZPnAdUCj4vI also have found my original file for Cov Cathedral, and unfortunately the file was corrupted meaning digital noise for the first minute or two. I had already converted that to an mp3 for pals though, so have managed to drop the first two minutes from that into the original file. There's a volume/quality difference which I haven't even attempt to try to fix. I was about 2/3s back on the left. Quite near one of the floor speakers. Coventry: we.tl/SIIhSG4frpApologies for delays.

Thanks for recording and sharing all these. Are you happy for the Manchester recordings to be posted on Dimeadozen, as einzack did with the Brixton show? The Coventry show won't pass the Dime losslessness test.

Yes, absolutely.
The Coventry one will if you chop the first two minutes. I used the introduction of the tremolo picked guitar part as a marker to splice the two, and it comes in just before the 2:00 mark. It's pretty obvious where the volume drops.
Is there free software to convert to flac and chop the tracks to make this easier in future?

Thank you. Just finished sorting the 2nd Feb show, will upload here and on Dime shortly. Tracksplitting - I've used CDWave for years, very straightforward piece of software which does one job very well. www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/Flac conversion - Traders Little Helper does a great job tlh.easytree.org/

I'm digging back into my recordings and trying to do something with all the audio/video. after over 5 years, i finally have my old audio workstation up and running again (old hardware that won't work with the newer computers i've had -- running on XP that i won't connect to the internet).

I assume your problem was related to ancient audio / video interfaces and connectors - but if you need any help in audio restoration or post-processing, I'd be happy to assist.
