Has anyone seen 65 days of static live before, i'll be seeing them next month, only heard a couple of tracks e.g. fall of math quite intriguing.

Yeah, they put on a decent live show. Plenty intense. They've kind of been flogging a dead horse for a while now, but their newer more electronic/beaty stuff is definitely the correct way to go, imo.

65daysofstatic is in my top 4 favorite bands (Mogwai, This Will Destroy you, Mono (Japan), 65daysofstatic). One Time for All Time is one my absolute favorite albums ever. The Fall of Math is really good as well and so is The Destruction of Small Ideas. Their new album is way more techno/dance. There is, however, one absolutely amazing track that you must check out if you havne't. Hear is a link to the Youtube, it is called Tiger Girl. I think it might be one of the greatest electronic tracks ever:

saw them live a few times a few years back and they were always very good.
they share their tour manager with mogwai, too...
