Hello fellow Mogwai fans. Some of you may know me, most of you probably don't, but I feel like this is a good platform with which to introduce myself. I am Thom, a musician, and a Mogwai fan from Glasgow, and have been for a number of years. Recently, I was bestowed with a show on Glasgow University's Subcity Radio station. As Mogwai's influence has done tremendous things to my music taste (introduced me to bands like Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine as well as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Arab Strap, and many many others), I think that perhaps a couple of you would be interested to hear the show I will be doing. The show is called The Red Room, and will begin tomorrow night. You can listen live through the Subcity website ( link), and listen again to your leisure on the show's page ( link). There is also a Facebook page ( link) and a Twitter ( link) available, for those of that persuasion.

Looks good! Good to see you've a listen again feature - may be getting some of my ear-time young Padawan...

Hey James. The station is moving its focus from listening live to listen again, primarily 'cause it's easier and more convenient, and also because a license to broadcast on FM is hideously expensive. I hope you enjoy the show - it's a lot of fun doing it, despite wreaking havoc on my sleeping patterns. Have you seen the Red Room posters up around Glasgow recently?
