"It will likely be the last extensive touring we do for some time so we hope it will be a very special tour." Slightly ominous? Or am I just paranoid? Do we know if they've got firm plans for another album? Mogwai are still very much a going concern, if that's what you mean. Care to expand on that?!

If it was ominous, why would they have committed themselves to another six months of sporadic touring?

Yeah, not having any inside knowledge or anything, I just read that like.... having just toured their asses off for more than a year straight, after this they'll likely just do some recording and/or other stuff for a little while. Some stuff that doesn't involve being away from home constantly. I know that's what I'd be thinking about if I were them.
Can't wait for the tour.... I'm going to try and go to Montreal maybe, if I can get it together, maybe elsewhere, you never know. I'm a bit busier than usual this spring, though. At least they're playing Toronto again, as usual.
Of course I'd also love to see a couple of older tunes dusted off. That would be amazing. Stanley Kubrick would be fantastic. And I hope to one day again hear Sine Wave live. Whatever, they could be playing an hour and a half rendition of Robot Chant and I'd still go.

Hey Ryan, we met briefly at the last Montreal show didn't we?

^^^^ Yep, that was me. Still thinking of going to Montreal again this time, not sure if I can find the time this time, but I'd love to. Metropolis is a great venue, too.
If I do make it out there, we should meet up again, esp since you might be on your own. Not sure whether I'd be able to convince my girlfriend either this time. If she does come you'll definitely have an ally as far as finding a place that vertically challenged people can see from, ha ha. Actually, by then she'll be my wife, gawd. Mogwai honeymoon. Ha.

There's a confirmed show in Santiago, Chile on 17th May So, confirmed now in South America: Chile, Brasil and... Uruguay? I think now it's the time to confess that I think I won't be able to travel to any of those countries to see you, guys , but if you've got a chance, I'll wait here in Lima, jeje. Damn is hot here!

Man, I would love to go to a Mogwai show for my honeymoon! haha! That would be awesome to meet up again. The boyfriend was a bit cranky that night and I couldn't get him to hang around after the show. I think the train ride put him in a bad mood. haha. I should be staying in the hotel which is directly beside the venue, and most likely enjoying a couple of glasses of wine in my room while getting ready for the show, so you guys are more then welcome to join me if you'd like. Its so nice basically sharing a wall with the venue - no rushing, no jackets, no worry about weather... As for finding a place to actually see the show - I intend n being up front this time around. The first time I saw them, I was up front and had a glorious time. The second time I sat in the back in the balcony and well - I could see everything, but i didn't feel as consumed by the music as I did the first time - Sooo, I'm going back up front! *and I'll wear some heels*

^^^ Well, my chances of making the weekend trip to Montreal just collapsed. Unfortunately, or fortunately, Radiohead picked the day before to play Toronto, and I'll be going to that instead..... I may have to be satisfied with seeing them once this time.
Sorry I won't make it, too bad since I enjoy seeing shows in Montreal. Good luck with the heels in the mosh pit.

well now that they've added a detroit show I might not go to chicago after all (if gas prices don't drop back down a bit). IF I end up not going to chicago, does anyone know if there's any way I can let someone else use my ticket for chicago which has already been purchased?

Just a note for anyone wanting to go to the Alexandra Palace ATP, nearly every outlet has now sold out of Saturday day tickets, there are apparently "a few dozen" left at gigantic.com - get in quick if you want to go
I'll be there, though I'm not sure how I'm going to get home from a 1am finish!

I think I read on here a while back that theres no issue with offering tickets for resale as long as they are at, or below, the face value. If it is a problem, I apologise.
I bought a day ticket for the ATP I'll be your mirror event that Mogwai are headlining on 26th May when they first went on sale. However, I cannot get to the show so if anyone would like to buy this off me, I'm willing to sell it half price for £30.
If you are interested, would like more information, know someone who is interested or can help me pass this ticket on, please get in touch.
Thanks.

Yep me too. Stage times are up on the ATP website now. Really really looking forward to this - Chavez, Codeine, Mudhoney and Mogwai - four of my favourite bands, one of whom I thought I'd never see live again and one I thought I'd never see live at all.

I'll be there, though I'm not sure how I'm going to get home from a 1am finish! Well Mogwai are due to finish at 11 I believe. I'm planning on catching the nightbus. I'm getting excited now and looking at the gigography.... what do you reckon the crossed out song was on the Rio playlist? youngteam.co.uk/brightlight/eng/gig150512.php

I wonder whether that's just a mistake or whether it's back in the live repertoire.

Yes, it's been confirmed. Thanks! Got my ticket yesterday. Really looking forward to the show after seeing them in Austin last year. Anybody knows if they will be bringing any merchandise to the Mexico city show? Or to the one in Vancouver? My brother is going to that one. I want a shirt, the one I got in Austin is worn out...

The northern end of the Northern line is closed until at least 8.45am on Sunday - any Londoners care to comment on how accurate these published re-opening times tend to be? If it over-runs by much, I'll need to find another way to Euston so I don't miss my train.

I had to use them quite a lot in 2005 when the Picadilly line was closed down. At least the N91 goes via Euston. www.londonbusroutes.net/times/N029.pdfwww.londonbusroutes.net/times/N091.pdf
