Another vote for mogwai!! A lot of quality on that line up Indeed. I could quite easily have voted for any of Wells/Moffat, RR, Mogwai or Muscles Of Joy, and there are several other albums with considerable merit. And some I haven't heard so can't comment on.

I'll confess that I voted for King Creosote and Jon Hopkins. It was my favourite album of last year. Yes - I know Hopkins is English - but rarely has an album felt more Scottish than that one. But Remember Remember, Wells Moffat, Mogwai were all in my top 10 of 2011. This is a much better shortlist than the Mercury, reflecting an amazing year for Scottish music.

A lot of my favourite music is made by Scottish musicians.
But I thought the public vote was for one day only, or did I dream that?!
