A real shame then. I'm sure I can't bee the only person in Sheffield who wanted to pick up a copy. Quite sad really- been a good while since I went to a record shop on day of release to get something I'd been looking forward to. Not a great vote of confidence for high street shopping over the internet! I went into Sheffield HMV the other day and was impressed to see a small vinyl section has appeared, and they had the new Errors album on full display. I was impressed, as I've given up with Sheffield record shops completely and buy all my stuff direct from the label or from Norman Records, and occasionally Picadilly Records if over in Manc. Good to hear there's some fellow mogwai fans in Sheffield. Regarding the new LP, the Tim Hecker mix is the only one I'm really digging, however I'll give it time.

I've all but given up on HMV. My nearest one is Canary Wharf and it pretty much just sells games and DVDs. There are some awesome record shops left in London, but like said above I tend to go on the internet, direct to labels or via Norman or Boomkat.
Had a listen to the first half of the album today and it sounds good. I'm a little wrapped in the new X-TG though to give it more than a passing glance. It'll come.

I went to my local HMV recently. Hardly any music on sale. Disappointing.
Sent from my GT-I8150 using proboards

my vinyl just arrived- order the sub pop edition. the grey and red vinyl look great but there are no printed inner sleeves - just plain subpop ones...I think the european version has additional photos , oh well

(irrelevant side note) I know this goes against the prevailing tide, but I've stopped buying vinyl because most labels are only offering mp3 downloads rather than lossless. I'll stick with CDs for now.
