Interestink ;D
EDIT: Just realised this is old news on the blog. My apologies. What do you guys think of it anyway? I think it's great to hear it being done from a metal perspective. The intense gloominess of blackmetal suits the bleakness of C.O.D.Y. to a tee.

I thought this was amazing... Then again, I'm a bit of a metal head, so... that's not surprising.

Could anyone tell me as to whether or not Mogwai has ever had an actual metal band open for them on tour? I think that would be a very interesting mix.

I saw Deafheaven live earlier this year (when they were supporting Russian Circles) and, truth be told, they were agonisingly boring. Nothing to get excited about. Not even if they covered the whole album. (Heaven forbid!)
