Good spot - thank you I wonder whether this will be a Zidane set? Is the Assembly Rooms seated? I can't see them rehearsing a different show to play a couple of weeks after the Zidane shows, but you never know.

Oh now I have a dilemma.... we are off on our holidays to the west coast on the 9th, so would be in Scotland. However, I don't suppose we can take a 5 year old and a 7 year old to this gig....
ETA - anyone have any idea how long their set will be?

If anyone's attending - tickets have doors as 8.45pm The Assembly Rooms website says the show will be 2 hours, which seems unrealistic given the line-up I hear moves are afoot to ensure it will run until midnight

Very enjoyable evening. Most of the 'supporting cast' played around 4 songs each, some collaborations. Compered by Ian Rankin. Then a brief break whilst Mogwai finished setting up, and finally a Mogwai set running to roughly 75 mins and an unusual setlist: www.youngteam.co.uk/brightlight/eng/gig080813.php
