The £55 box set on the website seems to include a t-shirt. As I can't really afford £55, I'm hoping a cheaper one might be available somewhere without a shirt.
Amazon are listing the box set (without a t-shirt) for £84.99 for some odd reason. I assume this will come down though, so may be worth keeping an eye on.

To muddy the waters still further - there's a ltd. UK indies-only vinyl format with a bonus 7" If anyone sees tracklists for any of the bonus formats, please post them! I'd like to think the multi-format box set will have everything. Sent from my GT-I8150 using proboards

I am personally immensely disappointed with that track REMURDERED... I think it's really awful! I, of course, very much look forward to the rest of the album which, hopefully, will save that 'mistake' of a song.
I always admired Mogwai over a decade for their ability to forge their own path no matter what. They managed to evolve despite critics, reviews, newspapers etc constantly putting them in the 'POST-ROCK' drawer. Mogwai, for me, never had to fit in anywhere. But for the very first time, and this is only my opinion, I feel like this track has to fit in somewhere... That kinda annoying synth, hipster pop awful vibe...

Love the box-set, but would happily pay for a t-shirtless version. Not sure I would wear that design out. Looking forward to the Steve Gullick booklet. He had a few sneaky shots up on his instagram account a while back.

I'm amazed the Christians haven't started on track 10 yet.

I'm amazed the Christians haven't started on track 10 yet. Well it's hardly blasphemous or heretical. Anyway, it could be referring to Lord Lucan!!!! Or any member of the House Of Lords. Or any member of the band Lords!!!!! Sent from my GT-I8150 using proboards

Oh I agree absolutely, but I think Christians would have to be extremely thin-skinned to get upset about this.

Website now have an option for boxset without t-shirt. Ordered with delivery to Ireland for €75. Make sure you don't use the euro option on the website, ordered it in sterling saved another €5.00! Also, if you select the t-shirt it now adds £15.00 to the order plus over £20 for postage!! (to Ireland). Postage to Ireland now standing at £7.35, (no t-shirt) compared to yesterday when it was £26.00 (inc t-shirt). Sorry if all of this is confusing, but i'm confused!!

Still waiting on info from Sub Pop as to if I'll be able get the box set.
When I picked up the Special Moves box set, with shipping and everything in, I think I paid upwards of close to $100 CAN
Apparently I'm nuts...

Sorry- forget that- I see it's £55 without a shirt, £70 with one, plus postage. I'm gutted but I just can't afford that. Way too expensive for me, sadly.

I also wouldn't have been able to justify €100, but €75 i can just about get away with (it's my birthday in late Jan, so it's a pressie to myself!). I obviously got lucky & managed to get on it at just the right time and the money's gone aout of my account, so i assume it can't/won't be cancelled. I'd reckon it's worthwhile checking often for any other changes that might occur on the Mogwai website & on Amazon. Sorry that this now won't be of help to anyone else in Ireland/outside the uk.

£80 for the boxset plus t-shirt and delivery is very very steep. I went for it, but probably shouldn't have.
Also, don't want to be 'that guy' but I'm disappointed with the new track. Seems pretty thin and uninspiring. I'd be disappointed if Errors made it, and Errors might be a bit miffed that Mogwai seem to have found the keys to their studio.
Anyway, enough moaning. Looking forward to hearing the new album and just booked my tickets for Manchester.

I am!
Looking back, it looks like the price might have changed (or not been clear). It's £70 for the boxset and t-shirt and then £10 for delivery to the UK. That's what I paid yesterday.
Feeling a bit violated really, Special Moves wasn't that much - just looked back in my emails and a pretty much identical order (Vinyl boxset + CD + T-Shirt) was £56 including delivery. Have production and delivery costs really gone up over 40% in 3 years?

Hi, A couple of points re: boxset. The main difference between this box and the Special Moves box that you're comparing it to is that Rave Tapes one includes a large format, 12" x 12" hardback, 40 page, buckram wrap book of Steve Gullick's photography.
The RRP of Special Moves and Hardcore was £40, this one has been increased by £15 to cover the production costs and other associated costs involved with putting together a large format hardback book of photography. Consequently the fact that this item is included will make the box itself slightly bigger (in depth) and will obviously make the box itself heavier two factors that will have a knock on effect in what you're charged in postage if you were to pay for non-couriered serviced.
As for the postage I agree that the costs are high for couriering to non-UK locations and I'm in discussion with Sandbag to see if we can give a secondary postage option to those who want it (including those who have already ordered) however with that in mind any non-couriered delivery would be unlikely to be trackable and would be non-guaranteed.
Cheers, Craig

I ordered mine on Tuesday morning and paid (checks email) £55 plus £10 shipping for the box including t-shirt. Wonder why it's gone up by 15 quid in three days?

Currently, it's £55 if you opt out of the t-shirt option. £70.00 incl. the t-shirt. Postage costs to mainland Europa again at £23.00.

It's because the T-shirt is an additional, optional item as it is with the CD, LP & Digital versions. The shirt is not an inclusive part of the box set. There was a misunderstanding with regards the product description that was sent through and the product version that was set up when the store went live, it was identified and the item was amended. Some of the initial orders included the shirt with the box order.

Presumably there won't be any additional charge (ie: will I be charged the extra £15)? Apologies if I've misunderstood this
