Just curious what songs you always wanted to hear live, but either they have fallen desperately out of the set list rotation, or they were never played. I've got two:
- Christmas Song (played a handful of times including a lovely version at ATP) - Danphe and the Brain (never played, don't know why)

Burn Girl Prom Queen with a full brass band - wow, that'd be amazing.
More to follow...

Stuff I've never seen Mogwai play live and would love to hear:
Letters To the Metro Chocky I Chose Horses Half Time (and the rest of the Zidane OST) Local Authority Blues Hour Burn Girl Prom Queen
It'd be great to see a sit-down show where they played some of the Earth Division and Les Revenants tracks too.

Half Time at the Albert Hall in Manchester was one of my best Mogwai live moments to date. Ooh yes I would like to hear Les Revenants and earth division stuff.. Similarly would love to hear Christmas Song and Thank You Space Expert Actually, lots off Hawk that I would like to hear...,as a late comer to the live experience there's lots that I've missed Glasgow Mega-Snake (!) And as I've already said elsewhere, I would probably be a weeping mess if I heard No Medicine for Regret live.

Half Time at the Barbican for the Zidane screening was the loudest I've heard them in a long while. Would love to hear Les Revenants played live. Lucky enough to have seen Stuart play 'What Are They Doing In Heaven Today' at Shhh! a few years back.

Yes I was going to say that Ben, the sheer volume of it was quite something. I'd happily watch that again. Sorry to bang on about it rob still there's no way I can match you for overall quantity of Mogwai experiences!

I should count myself lucky, but it doesn't mean I'm not feeling I'm missing out with having only managed one show this year. The Zidane shows were just bad timing last year - if they'd been a week later I'd have most likely managed three of them.

Latitude is out for us this year as we have a holiday already booked, and I was holding out for more summer festival dates but I spoke to MrRF and he said he can't get excited about festivals in general (last one we went to was Glastonbury 10 years ago, pre kids) so that means the Glasgow weekend is a goer, just need to find some pennies now...

Burn Girl Prom Queen would be great also. I'm always crossing my fingers that the band will want to do an extensive tour with some strings and brass. I don't even think Luke has ever made his way over here to North America with Mogwai.

It's a no-brainer for me. It just has to be the beautiful and hypnotic swirling joy that is "Burn Girl Prom Queen".
My wife Karen strode slowly and majestically up the marital aisle to this most wonderful song as an entrance theme to our wedding in 2005.
For me it has to be, therefore, the best song that Mogwai has never heard played live, while I've been in the crowd.

For obvious reasons at the time, but I'm *sure* that could be worked out now - particularly with the 15th anniversary of mogwai:ep coming up later this year.

superheroes of bmx and sine wave would be the crown jewels of my live experience however it appears unlikely that these tunes will see light any time soon due to lack of an effects toy (bmx) and sound files that never get brought on tour (sine wave). i would also love to see the punk rock intro to 2 rights or the 'i had a dream' version of MFMK. and while we are wishing for impossible things; how 'bout gruff doing vocals on dial:revenge? tracy and folk death 95 are songs i've seen but wouldn't mind getting a bit more rock action out of.

Okay I'm a bit late to this party but I would LOVE to see/hear Burn Girl Prom Queen live with brass, would also love Sine Wave, and Dial Revenge with Gruff! My first shows were from the Mr. Beast tour, sadly I missed a LOT of great tunes from the first 4 albums that lost their spots for new material.
