Hi Rob,
Happy New Year.
Saw your post about scaling back the website and having less to maintain - this sounds sensible and thanks for all your hard work!
Will the forum remain? It'd be great if it does, along with the gigography as you mention.

Rob, Let me add my thanks for maintaining what has been a valuable resource, I appreciate how much time and effort can go into maintaining these things. FWIW I'm hoping the forum stays too - it's been such a useful source of information over and above the blog Being hopeful and looking forward to some UK shows in 2015!

Yeah Bright Light has been, and will continue to be, a stellar web site. All power to Rob, who has pursued his venture for 16+ years now.
This forum isn't going anywhere, as far as I know, as it's independent of Bright Light.
Please keep the contributions coming. The more the merrier.

Thanks for the positive comments.
The forum is independent of the website, and will continue to operate as it always has done.

Another appreciative person here thanks for all you do Rob and glad this board isn't going anywhere I share those sentiments Markthom - I feel in need of a live fix (IYKWIM) but I reckon unless I get on a plane I'm going to have a long wait this year....

Not really the right place but is there any hint on what 'gwai will be up to this year?
My guess is rest/aus tour, festivals, maybe a few gigs and then back into the studio at the end of the year.

Les Revenants 2 might be the next project, after the planned gigs and a rest, I reckon.

I would imagine there might be some 20th anniversary-related activity?

Extra free time indeed. Indeed, but somehow I've managed to take up running marathons. Don't quite know how that's happened..... But enjoy the extra time, however it is spent!
