Can't wait for next Thursday. Was gonna ask about long not-played songs, but a surprise is gonna be even better than a possible play of something. Gonna be grwat regardless, not seen them in too long. Last gig was Zidane in Manchester and I missed the the encore of non-OST tracks.
More than enough amazing tunes to make for a fine night. Rarities will just be a blissful bonus.

Brilliant set. Stick with it M'wai. But I'd love to see some 'Hardcore' shuffle to include either You're Lionel Ritchie, Too Raging to Cheers, Death Rays or Letters to the Metro. Werewolf and Mexican GP are a bit too familiar and not representative, in my view, of the band's talent. And many have heard those live during the past two years.
But I don't want to be negative.
As I say, fabulous track list.
Can't wait for the two nights in London.

Dublin gig was superb - they were on absolute top form. Great set list very well paced, and MFMK was a stunning finale - I've waited a long time to hear this track and it didn't disappoint.
Mogwai blew me away.
Again.
Thanks guys.

Damn that Dublin setlist looks awesome! Agree with a few of you who posted that it's a tad heavy on Hardcore, but it's so hard to be negative with what they've been playing.
I'm holding out hope (even though I won't get to see/hear it) that the two Scotland shows coming up this weekend will include some gems (Burn Girl, Star Wars) that will just blow away everything! I'm hoping for you guys that are going...just hope they record the shows for the rest of us!

(And why was my comment in shoutbox.?)

Ah you fool ! Tomorrow I'll try to get to the front for a bit. I have bobbed wavy brown hair and will be wearing my only clean top/tshirt which is greeny turquoise with oyster catchers (!) printed on it - and a bl badge!

I'm guessing that wasn't Barry taking up his role as band flautist again?! I'll be heading to the 2nd London date, bl! badge on my bag strap. Hope to see a few more badges

Went to the Dublin show and now both Barrowland shows. Tonight's set was the best I've seen them. I suspect they were recording the Glasgow shows so am looking forward to hearing that all again. Amazing

How face melting was tonight? Well the last 4 songs were MFMK, 2 Rights, Satan, then Megasnake. F'ing ridiculously good. Throw in Yes! I am a long way from home, and Xmas steps (with luke playing on the outro) and you have for me easily the best mogwai show I've ever seen (yes, even better than Saturday!)
By the way, holy crap is the Barrowlands a great venue - the sound was awesome. If I knew if was going to be this good I would have flown over from Toronto ages ago.....
Cheers Mogwai!!!

ooh that was indeed a great set Bob my husband agrees it was the best ever... I am torn because last night's had Jim Morrison, batcat and werewolf which are my usual live favourites especially for making me leap about.....BUT tonight there was GMS (and thankyou Dominic for replying to my tweet about that:) ) and also Xmas steps, George square, helicon 1 and started beautifully I think I was giddier last night but more mindful tonight... I also made it to the barrier in middle of the stage and accosted 3 fellas to ask if anyone was MarhThom but to no avail

I reckon we might get the odd one or two. I'd like wizard motor too, but my top choice is Glasgow Megasnake as I've never bloomin heard it live. Also no medicine for regret, would be amazing but I'm not hopeful... What else... 7:25, black spider or half time off Zidane I love you... , the precipice, or space expert off hawk would be lovely Death Rays Christmas steps Off my wishlist: Megasnake Black spider Christmas steps Sadly no death rays but I think others compensated and there were definitely more than one or two rarities It was Shona playing the flute btw
