Great topic! Not really ranked, but my top 4 are: archive.org/details/mogwai2006-05-03.sbd.remaster.flac16Gothic Theatre, Englewood (20016-05-03) imo the best sounding live recording out there. archive.org/details/mogwai2001-06-17.flacfTree's, Dallas (2001-06-17) Another soundboard and this one's very hot and clipped, but the power of the show is immense. If you like 'em loud, this is the one! And the distortion on the left channel is lost in the music in all apart from the quiet bits, so I find it not a big deal. Finishes with the most brutal version of my father my king I've ever heard committed to tape. archive.org/details/mogwai1997-08-19.flacfJaffa Cake, Edinburgh An oldie but a goodie. Some distortion/weird stuff in Helicon and rough sound in places doesn't detract from a cracking recording. archive.org/details/mogwai2002-05-27.shnfLee's Palace, Toronto There's a webcast version which is (very marginally) better, but it isn't on archive.org. This audience capture is absolutely top notch so nothing lost by listening to this instead.

As far as I'm aware, every circulating version of that show has the two channels very slightly misaligned. The version on archive.org certainly does, there's an odd doubling effect throughout (listen to Stuart speaking at the start of MFS for an example).

Sounds like an opportunity for someone to rectify it. It certainly would explain the odd sound at times....
