Nice read. I'm guessing they mean an album will be early 2016, not 2015 as in the article.

Bugger, would have went to the Glasgow show, but am getting married on the 6th of May - can't miss that! Surely a perfect evening do? I'm sure Minor Victories wouldn't mind a few folks making speeches from the stage before they play? Congratulations.

Certainly a whole lot better than the usual wedding music Thanks Rob

New song "Scattered Ashes" with James from Twilight Sad and a very daft video!

Leeds was great. Nice to meet Stuart on the merch stand. Loved Justin trying to out-Stuart Stuart on the guitar. "Higher Hopes", "Cogs" and "Out To Sea" are splendid.

Ah Sim I knew I should've lurked afterwards but we had to get back for the babysitter- could've met you and Stuart! I did say hello to mark on the merch stand as I follow him on Instagram after I spotted myself on his 'from the stage' barrowland video last year Anyway - was a brilliant gig, really enjoying their stuff and strangely was quite something to be up close to Martin's drumming. My fella went along with no expectations whatsoever having somehow avoided all the radio plays of them, and he was v impressed.

Twas actually pre-gig that Stuart was on the stall. Bought myself a catzilla t-shirt and a tote bag for the other half. Agreed about Martin, he's often buried under the mayhem at Mogwai shows and it was good to see him hammering away up close. Great drumming.

Rough Trade has just announced they have an exclusive 2CD and LP/CD set. The second/bonus CD is called "Variations Pt. 1", and features orchestral re-workings of four songs from the album. Worth a look, especially if you haven't pre-ordered yet. CLICK HERE!!!!

How are people finding this album? For the most part, I like it a lot. The track with Mark Kozelek is a bit of a drag, though.
