There were 4 videos yesterday, one seems to have disappeared, overall it's a shame the sound is so naff in terms of people wittering on - but it all sounds promising!

this twitter user did some periscope streams, which are reasonable quality. Sounds really promising but don't want to listen too much: twitter.com/ritafernandez

Better and complete version of the first two above. Definitely has a batcat/GMS sound to it. (Weren't those John songs?)

Thanks. Who's the not-John guy playing with them? It's Alex Mackay I think. alexdmackay.comHaven't listened properly yet... but my willpower won't last!

They are the final track titles, the listing for the album was published when the pre-orders went live.

Will they play only songs from their new album during the tour? Or we can expect some of their classic hits as well?

Despite the phone audio quality, I really enjoy the vibe of these tunes.
As well, I noticed right away that they seemed to be having a really good time up there. Some laughs exchanged, and just good humour all around. I mean, how can you not be in a good mood playing on a beach in Barcelona?! However, I can imagine there would be some anxiety associated with playing a surprise gig of all new material.
Can't wait for 1 September!

Don't think this source was posted yet, but the link below is the best version of this track I've come across from Primavera.
Might be the title track?
It's real good whatever it is!
Also, lols at Dom maybe almost choking on his drink when Barry plays a bum note in the quiet bit. Seems like they were having a fun time.

Any setlists for their set in Hobart last night? New album start to finish again, or back to a more regular set? I'll be interested to see. Kinda odd to fly half way round the world to Tasmania for a 1-off gig. Must have been some good $$!

If previous form is anything to go by, the Primavera show could well be the only time some of the tracks from the new album get played live.
Only two songs from the first ten years of Mogwai's career on that setlist, and one of those gets played at every show.

A very stressful half an hour this morning trying to secure tickets for the Leeds brudenell social club gig announced this morning. Ended up ringing the venue and asking for a link as mine hadn't come through. So pleased to get them! . Anyone else going ?

I don't think I've ever seen them in such a small venue

Yay! That's 3 of us. So bl! badges on for ID and see you down the front? Wonder what the capacity of this new community room is - I've seen them at Cambridge junction but I'm guessing it's smaller than that

The main room at the Brudenell is half the size of the Junction. This is going to be cozy.
