Hi, all
Not sure if the spotlight has been shone on this similarity before.

Whereabouts in the PSB video? It's 43 mins long.

D'oh. I put in a time code (ff 36min) but it came out in very small type next to the image and was a bit overshadowed. Anyway, like I say, it starts at the 36m mark.

I can't hear much similarity there?

Mebbe it's just me, Rob. I tested it on my wife and she looked blankly at me, but the riffs sound uncannily similar to me. Standing too near the stacks at Gwai gigs has probably taken its toll!

It sounds similar to the opening guitar riff. Now that we're in the subject. Does this sounds familiar? (around the 00:50 mark):

Hi, all Not sure if the spotlight has been shone on this similarity before. (ff to 36min) The guy from PSB is a friend of a friend, and I know he's a big Mogwai fan (we went to the RAH gig together). I get what you're saying with the tracks but while theres a bit of a similarity with the way the melody fits with the rhythm, I wouldn't say there're so close it's anything to make a big deal out of.
