Just want to share this amazing artist I recently discovered, PYRIT. UFO, Pyrits album, is a dark, spacious record, with a bluesy, kraut/industrial feel. Production suits the vibe perfectly, But it doesn't seemed forced. Almost like it just had to be the way it is. Honestly, it has some of the most simple, yet deftly employed, sound design I've heard in a long time. Sort of like Scott Walker meets bauhaus meets deerhunter. Entire album can be downloaded/streamed from bandcamp, and I think Norman Records may have a few copies left of the vinyl repress. For what it's worth, I was stunned. Don't sleep!
