I've just uploaded a new mogwai show to dime... www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=276408Mogwai Tree's, Dallas, USA 2001-06-17 Lineage: DC0 44.1k SBD > D100 (line out) > PCM-M1 > CD-R (1st or 2nd gen) > EAC v0.99 prebeta 5 (Secure Mode) > FLAC > you Setlist: 01. Big E (Black Spider) (7:45) 02. Christmas Steps (9:32) 03. You Don't Know Jesus (7:29) 04. Helicon 2 (3:31) 05. Like Herod (14:20) 06. Cody (6:50) 07. Secret Pint/(Punk Rock Sample) (5:59) 08. 2 Rights Make 1 Wrong (11:03) 09. Helicon 1/Encore Break (10:11) 10. Christmas Song (3:02) 11. My Father My King (28:12) Total: 107:54 Notes: I got this on cd from a trade many years ago, but for some reason never ventured to give it a listen. Until now. To say I was suprised is an understatement. Immense set from the lads, captured in almost near-pristine quality. The left channel gets overloaded quite alot, which does spoil things just a bit. To my ears all the instruments seem pretty balanced, with the drums sounding especially nice and crisp. Could have been one of the best Mogwai live recordings - but the levels on the left channel detract just a bit too much. oh well. The version of My Father My King seems especially brutal, and at 28 minutes, is one of the longest I have seen. Got this so many years ago I have forgotten who I got it off, but it came from the same person as the then uncirculated Sigur Rós - Montreux Jazz Festival (2001-07-13) show so big thanks to him/her, and apologies I cannot remember who it was. Enjoy, einzack (2009-11-16)

i downloaded that a few years back, i only found it on my old computer a while back. Pretty sure thats the only part of the gig i have. I'm not 100% sure where i got it from but imagine it was off Soulseek.
will have a look around for it

i've found myself listening to this recording a hell of a lot over the last week - it's quickly becoming one of my favourites, even with the overloaded left channel... but does anyone know the song being sung over the end of mfmk? i assume it's stuart singing and not something from the laptop, but i'm struggling to pick out many/any words...

new soundboard up at dime: www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=284578Mogwai The Showbox Seattle, WA March 21, 2001 My recording Sbd>D7(DAT)>Cool Edit Pro>EAC>FLAC 11 tracks 108 minutes Good show although without the crowd noise makes it a little sterile. I also taped them from the audience in 99 at the Breakroom(a smaller club) with CSB mics etc -- if there is an interest I can seed that one as well. Enjoy, Jackd appears uncirculated.

So it's pronounced RARNO PARNO. ;D I had RAYNO PAYNO in my head. Sounds good but the bass line was a bit muddy. I can't wait to hear it live.

sorry for the delay. there were some other shows i wanted to do first but i ran into some issues of files that wouldn't decompress (so i'm apparently going to have to retransfer them), but ended up doing this one next: www.archive.org/details/mogwai2006-03-12.ccm4.flac16i know the show is already up on the archive from sloan's recording, but this is my tape, with different gear, so maybe it sounds a little different? i don't know. it's one of my favorite shows that i went to.
