He does ask for some constructive criticism... maybe we should give it to him. Timing gave me fits for the longest time. It took me playing live with other people before I figured it out. Sometimes I still have trouble with it... but i tend to blame it on the drummer or bass player... this? you say time signiture like he even has one its pretty horrendous, he clearly doesnt know how to play the song. Well I started out on Drums, then did bass, then did guitar so maybe timing is just more natural to me, cos I find it really easy

I bet my playing of We're no here was even worse. Nice to see someone playing my tab, which I have since discovered was missing A LOT.
Anywho, i've figured out most of The Precipice and I might be inclined to write it down one of these days. If anyone's interested I could also post ridiculously simple tabs of Sun Smells Too Loud, Thank You Space Expert and maybe Scotland's shame (I am in the unfortunate predicament of not being able to find my wah pedal since I moved which makes me unable to figure out Stuart's part.)
Also, I thought about writing down some Errors tabs, but I don't think it would be worth the time with so few people likely looking for them.
And lysterfiend: i'll try to do a Helicon 2 tab from their Gothic Theatre set, but it's going to be pretty tough getting the 2 guitars down when they bleed across the speakers (unlike CD versions)

I'm struggling to figure out what's going on at the end of I love you, blah, I can play pretty much all of the clean part now.
I put tabs for Sun Smells too loud and a crappy tab of the bass for yes! i'm a long way from home on ultimate-guitar.
Edit: Sun Smells too loud, Yes! i'm a long way from home (bass) and Kings Meadow are all in the tabs pending section of ultimate-guitar. I might get some more up this week. (Space expert I have pretty much 100% along with Precipice, just need to spend the time writing it into tabs.)

I was doing a full I Love You tab as well, but I guess it's unnecessary now Although the above one is only for one guitar so I suppose i'lll still write out the other one. You could add the missing bits and put that on ultimate-guitar if you can be bothered. I can never be bothered to sign up for tab sites so if you want to correct/add too the BatCat one and upload it that'd be cool. I kind of figured out the background bit at 4:00 for batcat but its a bit improvised just now.

Has anyone ever bothered to figure out how to play Close Encounters? I have been searching for years for some tabs for this song. Normally I can figure songs out by ear to a degree, but I can't even begin here for some reason. I'd love some clues on this song to see how it's played. Can anyone help? I am going insane.

It would be much appreciated to this beginner guitarist. Someone pointed you to a link, but really... as a beginner guitarist you don't want to go messing with open tunings and what not. If your guitar is in straight standard tuning, try messing around playing the D string (3rd away from the fattest string) open and then on the next string down (the G string tehe) going around the 11th, 12th, then 8th, 7th, 5th frets to the melody of the My Father intro. I haven't played along to the CD, but to my ears it sounds kinda close - just a bit of un when you want to grab any guitar and play the main melody (ie: not exact correct tuning etc, just fun for beginners) these are the chords i'm talking about ------- ------- --11-- --0--- ------- ------- ------- ------- --12-- --0--- ------- ------- ----------- ----------- --8-----7- --0-----0- ----------- ------------ --------------- ---------------- --5-----5-/ 7 --0-----0-/---- ---------------- ----------------

Apoligies if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone got a tab for Secret Pint? Ummm... Some neat harmonics and gentle note runs in the intro preceeded by big open strummed octave chords. Very simple stuff. Drop D! I'll tab it out for you if you're still around/still want it bruv? : )

Is the guitar pro tab of Summer the Priority Version? And has anyone got it in non-GP format? I'm sat here with a weird tuning on my guitar and stumbled about for the noisy bit because it was in my head and it seems to sound alright, but I was wondering what the generally accepted tuning was. And what the rest of the song was .
