Hiya,
Quick update to let you know what we've got coming out on Rock Action over the next couple of months. It's going to be busy times.
First up, the debut album from DeSalvo www.myspace.com/desalvoland entitled 'Mood Poisoner' will be available in stores on September 29th. If you're around Glasgow on the 28th head along to Mono for the album launch. Further details can be found via the band's website www.desalvo.co.uk. The band are in session with Vic Galloway next week (October 1st).
Following on from that Errors release a new single on October 6th. Taken from their 'It's Not Something But It Is Like Whatever' album the 7" version of Pump features a Dolby Anol remix of 'Toes'. The band are on tour around the UK from the start of October, check out www.myspace.com/weareerrors for a full list of dates. The band are also opening for Mogwai in their UK shows at the end of October.
We're pleased to announce that we're releasing Envy's 'Transofvista' DVD, also on October 6th. The band had it for sale on their recent visits over to the UK & Europe but we're pleased to be able to be giving it a wider release, like in shops and stuff.
James Orr Complex's long-awaited sophomore album, recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil is out on October 27th. A lot of folk have been waiting to hear how Chris was going to follow up 'Chori's Bundle' and this record definitely doesn't disappoint. www.myspace.com/thejamesorrcomplex
Finally, on November 5th we are extremely proud to be able to announce the release of one of Glasgow's most amazing talents of recent years. The self-titled debut from Remember Remember has been a work in progress for the best part of 2008. Initially recording started in Green Door Studios in Glasgow around February, Graeme has spent the whole summer period working alongside Steven Ward to produce a record that we're sure will capture people's imagination. It's an ambitious, epic record that is different to a lot of stuff we've released on Rock Action however we're immensely proud of the results and can't wait to let people hear it. www.myspace.com/rememberremember
All these releases will be available from our (soon to be updated) shop www.resonancestore.com/rockaction
Love,
Everyone at Rock Action x
