Just seen this for the first time, such an awesome live band. 'Yank Crime' is unquestionably one of the albums of the 90s.

I've just watched the footage of Golden Brown which is also great. The guitar playing is unbelievable.

stick 'Drive Like jehu' into the search engine on Youtube, there's another half a dozen live videos up there. Seems they have a tribute band called Rome Plows, bizarrely.

oh man... i can't get enough. jehu is amazing stuff... my wife loves rocket from the crypt as well, but i can't quite seem to make the leap.
The rafters on the ceiling in the jehu video reminded me of more than one place i've been for shows... the "hoedown" center of my teen years, the "white house" basement from college. That show could be taking place in any number of random towns.
now Roadside Monument is a band I HAVE seen live...

Rocket From The Crypt are one of my all time favourite bands, but for one reason or another, I've never got into any of the other members bands. Where's the best place to start? Which band/album?

Drive Like Jehu's 'Yank Crime' or any of the Hot Snakes records would be a good place to start.
