Attended the Copenhagen gig and my ninth so far.
They were amazing! No “Helicon 1” but I’ll survive.
I don’t remember the whole setlist but the highlights was the bone crunching dynamites during “Like Herod” and “Satan”.
Malmö tomorrow, I hope they alter the setlist a wee bit.

Scottish shows in December 2022 English and Welsh shows in February 2023 Apparently there was a pre-sale today for those signed up to Mogwai's mailing list. Did anyone receive any info, or even better manage to book tickets? I haven't received anything from the mailing list as of 8pm.

OK, it appears that you need to sign up again to get access to the pre-sale, even if you think you're already on Mogwai's mailing list.

No sign of any Irish gigs - I wonder if this is due to Brexit...

Why is there no London date? Am I missing something? The final tour for each album has regularly had no London date - see October 2014 and November 2018 for examples. Good to see Mogwai visiting some other areas of the country. Happens far too infrequently IMO.

I'm not particularly happy they played Alexandra Palace twice this year because I really quite dislike the venue and it is a PITA to get to and from so skipped them both. I had tickets for the cancelled Roundhouse gig in 2021 and hoped they would reschedule.
I was hoping and really wish they would play at more all seated concert halls like RFH, RAH etc in fact I think the Royal Festival Hall was thr last time I saw them. I was tempted to go to the Sage Gateshead again as I did a few years ago as I am originally from that area so can double up on visiting family.
It's been a long time since I saw Mogwai live now (July '18?) Been on average once a year since '98...
EDIT Just checked and now realise that the Sage date is a part standing gig so I won't be missing out on a lovely, quiet all seater concert.

I'm not particularly happy they played Alexandra Palace twice this year 27th May and...? Would also love to be able to see Mogwai play live more frequently but nights away in London/Manchester/central Scotland midweek are out of the question nowadays, and shows away from those areas are infrequent at best.

Feb 25th? Maybe that date was rescheduled to May... that would make more sense than playing twice. Going from www.concertarchives.org/bands/mogwai#concert-tableLooking at maybe travelling to Brighton in February. I feel like I have to see them at least once per album tour.

Well glad I waited for more London dates. Bought tix for both nights at The Garage! Looks like Tuesday is sold out already but there were Monday left last time I looked. That amazed me - smallest London venue they've played in years and yet it's not sold out. I don't understand why folk fall over themselves to go to the Roundhouse, Barrowlands etc and then smaller venue shows don't seem to sell well.

Short notice unless I missed an announcement the dates were advertised just the day before release?
