Lossless only preferably, and try to keep it to just links only, which should make the topic easier to navigate. So the format should be something like URL of thread, date of gig, format, sound quality. Also, obviously you can't download these gigs to sell them. Anyway, I'll start off: www.sharingthegroove.org/msgboard/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6626 7 Coachella 2/5/04 FLAC (241MB) Quality: B

not really for download but you can find a couple of streaming shows at this dutch site:
http ://3voor12.vpro.nl/3voor12/search/index.jsp?words=mogwai
if it doesn't go right to it try using the search field and type mogwai
ZOEK is either dutch for 'go' or 'search' so press that

You can get a plugin for WinAmp I think, but most of the time I convert my FLAC files to MP3. I know this is frowned upon in the trading circles, but I don't trade much, and the FLAC files are a bit too big to keep on my computer. flac.sourceforge.net/That link should give you some more detailed help if you need it.

Just search mogwai live on soulseek. I had around 30 audio shows which were all great quality, save's trading and you get some brilliant bootlegs
I've deleted most of mine now though, but i still have one or two and the fantastic Manchester show from last October, my name is: grizzlovescheese if you want it

Usually, but good quality, anything more is fussy Yeah, but obviously you can't trade mp3's, so lossless helps you expand your collection (by trading)

unless i missed it out it appears like herod isnt actually available to download, lo siento senors The 'Like Herod' link works for me. There's a post on the mogwai mailing list I made explaining the renaming needed to get the correct track listing for this gig. I'd quote it, buy yahoogroups is down currently (as usual). On ATP 2004, there's a large mp3 file of the Peel broadcast circulating on Soulseek. And another source for some small mp3s is a yahoo group called mogwai_mp3 (or something similar). Only a few in the 'Files' section, but the highlight might be a file with the ending of 'Yes! I am a long way from home' reversed, so you can hear Stuart and co's filthy depravity. On second thoughts, I'll put a copy of that reverse mp3 on my website. If anyone wants it, download it here: www.geocities.com/pearson22s/yes.zipThe link should work, although geocities is a bit tempermental sometimes. Unzip when downloaded.

I'll get round to putting my lossless copy of the Peel broadcast on sharingthegroove.org soon. And I'll post it here when I do. And there's a vine further up the thread to get the full audience recording.

That would be awesome if you could do that! Please let me know for sure!
Do you have a tracklisting for the songs that they broadcasted from that set? Such a great setlist.

The whole show is easy to find on soulseek anyway i know but the quality on that one (at least mine) is quite bad. it was ripped from the atp video that was linked on mogwai's site at chemikal.

Hey i would love to access that Indie Torrents page but it's been full of users for awhile. How long does it usually take before you can sign up?

There isn't a queue to join usually. Anyway, both those pages will be down now (they recently had a clear out of old torrents), but I believe both of those recordings are up at archive.org
