Just wondering what most Mogwai fans think of Rock Action and the artists on it, i.e. if you like any of them etc.
I like most of the bands, in particular James Orr Complex and Kling Klang, but I don't mind Envy, Part Chimp, Random Number
Anyone else care to share their views?
It's quite bad that we probably wouldn't have heard some of these bands had it not been for Mogwai...

I don't mind Envy, Part Chimp, Random Number i think the best thing Rock Action has released (aside from the Mogwai stuff, obviously) is the Part Chimp album. The other records have been consistently worth hearing, though, and that's exactly what any label needs to be doing. More power to 'em

More power to 'em agreed on both counts chief... wouldn't mind getting a Chimp live fix soon...

I like some of the bands on Rock Action records. Part Chimp are amazing, and are probably the best live band I've ever seen. Envy and Kling Klang are good stuff too. Don't really care for Cex or Papa M though.

I'm not hearing much in favour of James Orr Complex... I'd say he's probably my favourite act on RAR (except for mogwai, obviously)

No order of preference, but I enjoy Envy, Part Chimp and James Orr Complex. Random Number is good, too, and i have nothing against Cex (although I don't go a bundle on anything other than Oops, I Did It Again. Looking forward to hearing Errors, as well.

Envy opened this year's ATP for Mogwai, and were extraordinary -- I'm so glad I checked-in early.
