Hello all. I've been trying to download a torrent of an All Tomorrow Parties set, although I'm at work and I can't remember what year it's from. I got the torrent from www.torrentspy.com and its been stuck at around 90% for the longest time as no seeds are ever online. Are there any seeds around here that could help me out? Could anyone direct me somewhere where I can find other Mogwai bootlegs? I found a delightful one off of www.justconcerts.ca but other than that I only have their BBC Sessions to fill my live Mogwai needs. Maybe to some I sound foolish, but I need more live Mogwai. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you! What a lovely site! I got the ATP gig I was attempting to download for months from that site, and then some.
Are there any particularly famous or exceptional Mogwai bootlegs that I should look into downloading?

the cafe de la danse is pretty infamous as a fight breaks out during mfmk, i have two versions of this gig and on one the heated discussion comes out very clear. theres a boot recorded in manchester, think its 2003. dont bother with this as theres a bunch of mancs chin wagging all through out. www.archive.org/details-db.php?mediatype=etree&identifier=mogwai1997-10-15-2.shnlive at the lounge is a nice one, good quality for an early gig. think this is the earliest boot i have come across. someone will undoubtably be able to give the details on where to find it but the rock action tour gig in reykjavic march 2001 sound pretty damn good, especially with guest vocals from gruff from sfa, also has secret pint - punk rock - 2 rights thang going on which, maybe apart from recent performances it the best incarnation of 2 rights so far!

The Reykjavic show is 14 Mar 2001, and you can get it at www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=17810Unfortunately, the version of "Sine Wave" on there cuts out somewhere after 5 minutes. The rest of the gig is utterly golden. Speaking of this gig and the broken "Sine Wave," does anybody have a good recording of this show, preferrably with a complete "Sine Wave"?

this is indeed one hell of a gig - i'm a bit annoyed by the slightly off-violin tho but otherwise it's great

I haven't seen the 2005 ATP show come up yet? Was it recorded? I was hoping for another Peel session or something...

I was hoping for another Peel session or something... what do you mean? Sorry I meant that I was hoping they'd have played another Peel session this year...they don't get much play in the US, so I look forward to listening to those shows when people put them up online! Sorry for the confusion. I would just like to hear the new stuff live.

i just didn't understand why mogwai should do another peel session. since john peel passed away it must make it automatically clear that there isn't any peel sessions anymore? i'm sorry if i sound harsh but that's not the case. does anyone know if the peel sessions still exist? cheers.

Yeah I didn't mean for it to sound like that either, I just meant another BBC broadcast, only because the US doesn't do stuff like this. I didn't mean any disrespect to John Peel! So if anyone took it that way I apologize greatly! I just meant that I was hoping for another good British or European session to air...sorry for the confusion. I'll just shut up now :{

BBC Radio sessions still exist - but for obvious reasons there are no new Peel Sessions. I hope that they do a new sesh for one of the shows when the new album comes out - but I very much doubt if it will be before.
Patience dear folks, as they say, is a virtue!

Sorry guys, I didn't mean that in the sense that I was offended, I just apologized for sounding stupid...it's all good! Sorry to have caused so much drama! Thanks guys (Rocky & Iain) though, I agree I do hope that there are more sessions coming up...no hard feelings (I hope)
