Just noticed the Burning pre-order has gone up, but you can't order it withought 3 certain types of credit card, which is pretty annoying. As a man that doesn't have a credit card, means I can't order the damn thing. I'm sure lots of other people will be in the same situation. Anyone know anywhere else it can be ordered?

I just ordered it with my Visa Debit Card (UK), seemed to work fine, maybe give that a go.
Anyone else really dislike the Facebook plugin on the site? I hate the fact that facebook is on such an array of sites these days

I just ordered the Delux edition and I have no need of the LPs that come with it. If anyone wants buy them from me in the US please let me know. Not looking to make cash off of the sale but want them to go to a good home.  eric |

What happened to the usb idea? now we're getting a poster and a patch?
Maybe i'll sew the patch onto my denim cut-off while raising the horns.

Anyone else feel a bit let dow by this? mark the USB stick was going to make the box set very expensive and since it would have contained the audience recordings which are freely available online we dcided against it. The box sets with signed posters to be sold online are all gone. A small amount will be available in shops and box sets without signed posters will go on sale next week online. We're pretty taken aback with the demand to be honest. SB

So only the first 200 deluxe packages (with signed poster) went onsale? But the CD/DVD (no poster) is showing as sold out too? Was that available to buy at all?
I'm really pissed off right now but I'm not sure who at. I come to this site pretty much every day and I still miss out. Fuck my life.
Just so I know what I'm missing, is the poster to come in a tube or folded?
Also, can you find out if there was one individual who ordered a ridiculous number of deluxe sets and if they did, send them one of Barry's shits in a Jiffy bag? Cheers.

There are another 1000 deluxe box sets which will be in shops so I've no doubt that if you missed out online you'll be able to get a local record shop to order one for you. I'm sure that people aren't hoarding them btw as there are pretty much the same amount of box sets as transactions. SB

My guess is 200 - the same number as the number of signed posters. Anyway, the CD+DVD and the Deluxe Package are again available to preorder now. Although I haven't had an email telling me that despite registering to be told... ...DP ordered.  Hang on, I just realised that my old official Mogwai mailing list email address no longer exists so I assume I missed out on a mailshot a couple of days ago from the band. That would account for 200 boxsets being snapped up that quickly. Can anyone confirm that? Typical if it was the case - I'd been on that mailing list for 10 years and got about 2 emails. Then I changed my ISP 6 months ago and lost my server based email address. I feel like a bad fan now - not even on the mailing list... I think this weather is making me aggressive and bitter. I've been posting confrontational stuff on the internet all day. ;D  |

i tried to get one yesterday with no success. BUT i managed to purchase my deluxe boxset this afternoon. and the signed posters changed from 200 to 400. they should get snapped up quickly!

We're pretty taken aback with the demand to be honest. SB Can I suggest that the demand is possibly because we've been waiting a year already, and the release date has been moved back 8 months from the first announcement? It's not exactly a low-key release either. |
