Well, they knocked out Like Herod, Christmas Steps, and Dial: Revenge on Thursday night. and added Stop Coming To My House to the list as well - I think I'd miscounted as well, 29 different songs in 5 shows - these must be the most varied sets Mogwai have ever played? It'll be interesting to see what the weekend throws up.

No setlist here or on brightlight! for last night...?
Friday night was an absolute fucking stoater!!! Cheers boys!
Was losing a bit of faith in the Gwai (don't ask me why) but faith is restored 10 fold!
Every tune was magic but highlights for me were Friend of the Night, Xmas Steps and Helicon1 for a last tune... Lump in the throat for that one!!!
As good as if not better than Astoria... ;D

No setlist here or on brightlight! for last night...? Obviously you don't have a full list, but did you spot any songs that aren't on the lists for any of the other nights?

Obviously you don't have a full list Obviously, I don't. The encore was (I think): Glasgow Megasnake Helicon 2 Helicon 1. Helicon 2 isn't on the previous setlists. Do I win a prize?

re:fri set list - they opened with auto rock which sounded far better than tues nights and the best place in the setlist saying that fear satan is always a great way to start!
Great hearing a bit of kling klang b4 mogwai, inspired choice whoever came up with that!

Travel was third. I am virtually convinced that they played something else from Mr Beast in the middle of the set as well - anyone got a list or recording?! Last night's list is up now as well. What I hadn't realised was that the five band members had chosen the supports for a night each, and also had some say in the setlist. Saturday was Dom, hence the noise onslaught. Friday was John, and an educated guess says Stuart was Tuesday, Barry Weds and Martin Thurs.

A neat trick, that starting with 30 mins or so of quiet-ish stuff, then ramping the volume up towards the end of the main set. We're No Here was monolithic - loud and heavy. Helicon 2 was the only addition to the 'songs played' list, with MFMK and Cody last night, in another stormer. 32 different tracks over 7 shows - and, apparently, more to come.

There definitely wasn't anything I hadn't heard before in there. I'm now pretty much convinced that the setlist we have on BL (a slight variation on the one above) is correct.

cheers iain, thanks a lot! edit: the ica venue looks incredible. Suitably tiny. We decided to stand not at the front, but a little further back. So we were 8 foot from the band rather than able to play with effects pedals, read the set list, pluck out a spare guitar and join in... etc...
