Great night yep. I have been to the Roundhouse a fair few times before and it was nice to have some space in there really. Its normally completely crammed. It was loud and it was a young crowd - Ben you were right about the girls dancing - quite a few of them all the way through actually. I turned up by myself and gave my +1 to a guy that probably wasn't born the first time I saw them at the Duchess of York all those years ago.... I feel old.
I love Fear Satan live. The stuff off the last two LPs sounded great as well.

Likewise, passed on my +1 to a young 'un in the queue. Lots of fingers in ears for MFS and Glasgow M/S which is a good sign in my book - that it was nice and loud and some new folks didn't know what to expect!

Reflecting on Luke Sutherland at the iTunes gig. Shouldn't he be a permanent member of Mogwai?

Reflecting on Luke Sutherland at the iTunes gig. Shouldn't he be a permanent member of Mogwai? Does he contribute to any song-writing? If not then I don't see why he should, although he's a useful tour/session player.

ugh. Just be quiet.
Anyway. Still buzzing off this gig. Fantastic to see the kids - really, 15, 16 years olds loving it here in London. Not seen that age group at a Mogwai gig for years.

I thought it was a great gig, and happily surprised by the quiet crowd, much quieter than a usual Mogwai gig. Just watching the stream now which is excellent. Has anyone recorded this yet or know how to record it. There must be a way.

I'm sure there's a good reason why, but not selling the video of this show seems a missed opportunity to me. I'd have happily stumped up a tenner?
I wonder how long the streaming video will be online. As capitalratt suggested, there must be a way of archiving this....

OK, we have an answer - the streaming video will disappear from iTunes on 8th August

I've tried my best to record the stream with my screen capture software - it's not bad, but I can't record White Noise because the stream seems to take a couple of minutes to settle down when I start it. Still, I've got the rest ... this is the quality of it (one track - GMS) Quite happy to pass it on to others ... it's about 730Mb
