Anyone here that uses Spotify? I wonder if we could share playlists in this thread. Thanks.

I have this thing going with a group of friends where we send each other compilation CDs in the post? It's more fun than Spotify because we don't send tracklists and everyone has to guess what the songs are. Hilarious, huh?

I've heard of Spotify, but have no idea what it's for!

I've heard of Spotify, but have no idea what it's for! It makes you pissed that you collected that amount of records you own at home! Seriously, you can stream songs from a lot of artists (including Mogwai) for free. But you also get to pay a amount of money per month by doing so. www.spotify.com/uk/get-spotify/overview/That seems to be old, I think it's only Premium left of the three choices.

Now it's available in the US too. So get your Spotify and share some playlists! I'm going to share one playlist to show you how it works:

I recently stumbled on WE7 (www.we7.com) which is a similar site, but totally free. You can pay a monthly charge to listen without adverts, but they're only about 10 seconds long and are only on about half the songs you listen too. It has pretty much all of Mogwai's recorded output (inc more obscure stuff like Hugh Dallas etc) and is a pretty good free source to check out new bands. There's maybe not as much variety as there might be on Spotify, but that seems to have gone to the dogs there days anyhow. Worth a look at least.
