Favourite tracks from Hardcore now we've all lived with it a while?
Mine would be You're Lionel Richie and How To Be A Werewolf, closely followed by Death Rays. Mexican Grand Prix and Letters To The Metro not far behind.

Lionel Richie, Werewolf, San Pedro, Rano Pano.
best of all worlds, mellow, raw intensity and contrast.

Rano Pano, Too raging, Death Rays.
Unfortunately still my least favourite Mogwai album tho.

A terrific album in my opinion - although not the best - with the stand out tracks for me being Rano Pano, Death Rays, San Pedro, Letters To The Metro, Too Raging For Cheers and You're Lionel Richie. Of that little lot Rano Pano slides easily into my personal list of 'greatest Mogwai songs of all time'. The rest of the album I found a bit average and I apologise profusely to all concerned for that especially towards fan faves such as White Noise, Mexican Grand Prix and How To Be A Werewolf which for me both on record and live on stage were/are OK-ish. George Square Thatcher was just rubbish. Appreciate that I'll in the minority with such sentiment, but heh it's my view!
And may I add that Music For A Forgotten Future is absolutely brilliant.

And which tracks will be the 'survivors'? Only Jim Morrison made it on to this years setlists from The Hawk - which Hardcore tracks will still be around when the next album arrives?

Letters to the Metro, San Pedro, Mexican Grand Prix. Anyone else very surprised by how little mention this has had in the end of the year best of lists? I think it's both one of their best and most accessible albums.

I think it's both one of their best and most accessible albums. It was released too early in the year, unfortunately. If it had come out in September it would be heavily featured.
