xfm don't have studio facilities for live sessions, so presumably it's been pre-recorded?
the US tour is in March.

loads of bands do live sessions for xfm though...where are these recorded?

The Music Response sessions are not live - the bands pre-record three songs and an interview, Ian Camfield broadcasts a couple of the songs and the interview, and then the full session gets aired on xposure at a later date.
Same with the xposure sessions. The nearest xfm gets to a live broadcast is their Showcase shows, where they'll usually broadcast one of the sets on the same evening as the gig.
