I had a look at the kickstarter page for the Hudson River project after reading it on the news page here. Pledge $75 or more 9 Backers • Limited Reward (741 of 750 remaining)
Limited edition 12 inch of Mogwai's soundtrack for Hudson River Project. Digital download of the sound track and a download of the completed film. Plus the pin badge and your name on the list of funders on our site.
The fact that only 9 are sold speaks volumes as $75 is a huge rip off for a 12inch, pin badge and download of film and soundtrack. Does anyone here think it is worth paying $75 for the above?

I think the point is you're DONATING to help fund the project. The rewards are just incentives. I don't think anyone is saying the incentives are "worth" $75.

I know your supporting the project, but compared to other recent projects that I have supported via either kickstarter or band camp, you are getting very little in return. For helping fund thenews swans album I got an awful lot more than that for €55. A double live cd and a copy of their forthcoming album together with a live dvd all signed by Mr Gira
