Perhaps we should have a footie thread in the off-topic section. Then we can talk about Papiss Cisse's 2nd goal against Chelsea, officially the best thing about football all season!! ;D

The wonder goal Neil is referring to (see it before the FA snatches it!) Very good goal indeed, it reminds me a wee bit of Erik Edman's goal against Liverpool a couple of years ago. Makes me proud to be Swedish.

The best thing all season would be Southampton FC's promotion to the Premier League (as good as Cisse's goal is and all that!)

As a long-suffering Portsmouth supporter (and this season has been particularly long), I'm bound to disagree!! Oddly, I'd say it seems right that Saints are back there. Can't say the same about Reading, though.

I like that YouTube clip of the Cisse goal. One commentator seems to say "prostitute"!!!!

Any Newcastle fans here? I was wondering about their form this season which have been amazing. Is it because of Alan Pardew? I remember a quite a lot of people were against him when he was became their next manager. Or is it the squad as a whole? Thanks. I'd pissed if Roy Hodgson was the next manager of Eng... oh well...

Can't say the same about Reading, though. Part of me is glad that the blue part of the South Coast has slipped into League 1, although I will miss the el Classicoast league games! The return to the Prem will be a tough test, but one I'm sure we'll manage. Reading will have more to prove having gone up as Champions (I think Saints might have helped them a bit!). No tears will be shed if West Ham fail to make the cut.

It doesn't seem right that the cup final is being played in the evening.

Thoughts about the final round of this season's PL? Thoughts about Joey Barton that hasn't been already said?

Barton's behaviour was ridiculous. Great day otherwise.

Thoughts about Joey Barton that hasn't been already said? I should be George Lucas' screenwriter. ;D

I've been pretty underwhelmed by the prosepct of European Championship this time round. I'm not sure how well England will do in their group.

For England, on paper, it looks like a easy task. Having a new manager will probably help them a wee bit. But there's many players that are injured and Wayne Rooney is not playing. Maybe they should call in Joey Barton?
