AR: There’s a song on the album called ‘Acid Food’ that coincidentally sounds quite dream like and psychedelic. Do Mogwai eat acid food? SB: Not anymore! A lot of the song names have come from Japanese translations, and we thought it sounded like a type of curry or something. Acid’s good at the time but you don’t wanna go walking into the road or anything… heh, nice.

great interview.
it was especially interesting when stuart was discussing selling out. i couldn't agree more with his view that there are different degrees of selling out... and his thoughts on the likes of michael moore? nailed it! oh the irony!

The first half is a little inane, but you rescue the interview with a fine second half!

I think Artrocker is a shitty publication on the same level as The Fly and NME, but that interview was mostly interesting and well researched, so may hat is off to you.
