This video talks about how Mogwai won't play at a venue that does not supply a framed picture of princess Leah from Star Wars. Has anyone heard this before? I mean it would seem like a pretty extreme request, but sometimes there might be truth in some of these crazy rumours. What do others think? www.bionicbuddha.com/dist_ep6_riders.htm

tyhis is an old one, and may well have come from a casual comment in an interview - can't remember off the top of my head. one of those 'what can we put on our rider that we don't stand a chance of getting' thing, i think.
mogwai sandwiched between george michael and red hot chilli peppers...don't think we want to go too far with that one...

tyhis is an old one, and may well have come from a casual comment in an interview - can't remember off the top of my head. one of those 'what can we put on our rider that we don't stand a chance of getting' thing, i think. maybe this will refresh your memory. www.diskant.net/interviews/mogwai2.htmm: Do you ask for stuff on your rider?stuart: Too right we do. m: What?stuart: 72 cans of beer, two bottles of red wine, a bottle of whisky. Tequila. dominic: Are you talking about our rider? stuart: Yeah. dominic: Picture of Princess Leia. stuart: A colour photo of Princess Leia. dominic: We've only had two so far in the entire tour though. stuart: Three. dominic: Well one was a drawing though. stuart: No, we had the picture of her with the beach ball, the picture with the Ewoks... voice: I want to see the beach ball one. dominic: Oh, did we actually get that? I thought we bought that. stuart: No, we got that on the rider. It's in the van. It's really nice. dominic: Tony, Cassie? Do you want a doughnut? tony: (surprised) yes. stuart: So that's what we ask for on the rider. a interview conducted by marceline smith and carl bradley in february 1998.

It is common knowledge that during the Rock Action Tour John insisted on a half dozen wham bars and 2 quarts of dandelion & burdock.

It is common knowledge that during the Rock Action Tour John insisted on a half dozen wham bars and 2 quarts of dandelion & burdock. Whoa - that man has good taste. I love Wham bars and D&B. Although I don't think I've ever had them together...I'm trying to imagine it now. I'd be hard pushed to find a Wham bar to try it out... maybe order a box online...
