Can't wait. Ill be making the drive from Boston up to Montreal to the Spectrum. Should be epic. Anyone know anything about any opening acts? Also, can anyone tell me about the venue? Size? Capacity? Vibe? Thanks.

Yeah I'm making the drive up from New York. I was already going with some friends to Canada so it just worked out perfectly. I dunno anything about the venue though sorry...did you get your ticks yet or did you put them on "will call"?

I saw them at le spectrum last year when they played Montreal and I venue is very nice. There are seats around the side (with waitresses serving booze ) and an area to stand in front of the stage. As for capacity, I have no clue but it seemed to hold a fair amount of people. I recall the members saying it was one of the better shows of their North American tour. I may or may not be going to the show as I am going to the Toronto Curiosa show.

Well, the time is drawing closer and closer! I emailed the band and begged them to open the set with Superheroes of BMX!! Since they played it at ATP and the Montreal show is a one off headlining gigI figured its possible. What is on your wishlist? I would KILL to hear: Helicon 1 Superheroes of BMX Helicon 2 Summer MFMK Only 4 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings;
Just got a ticket for the MTL show... I (luckily) had to work last Monday (the Canadian holiday) at the last minute so I'm now able to take this Monday off, so I decided to go yesterday, driving up from Toronto. For all of the other visitors, Montreal is a great -really fun- city. I've had a great time at each of the few shows I've been to there. Anyway, I couldn't rope anyone into going with me at the last minute, so I'll probably be fairly bored when 'gwai's not playing, so feel free to say hi if you see me. I'll be wearing a light blue T-shirt with a kind of strange looking design on the front with an octopus and a whale, it's a Modest Mouse shirt. I'm really hoping they still can play the songs they learned for their winter Euro tour, esp. 'stanley kubrick', and 'sine wave'. Really, really excited about this.... going to the Buffalo show also, got that one planned a while ago.
