James Yorkston was fantastic last night by the way. Good crowd, good performance. King Creosote joined them onstage for a few numbers too, and they played one of his songs, which was very good so I think I'll check his stuff out

KC recommendations - start with 'Kenny & Beth's Musakal Boatrides', it's a sort-of 'best of' compilation from his 22 (!) releases (one of which is a 5-CD box set...)

you got 'dub come save me' too? it's great as well... No, I thought it was just a sort or remix album, but I think I'll invest anyway. I've got Brand New Second Hand, but it hasn't had much of a spinning as I don't remember being that impressed... Maybe I'll give it another chance.
