Iain, if you're still wondering about Evan Dando, you should get this album: It's a live one he did before releasing his solo album, so is him performing Lemonheads songs (except for one or two, which are his new) but in the style of his solo album. cheers Jack - didn't know about that one. I think I'll get it this weekend as it was payday this week gone.

is that any good? i'm very interested in dub music and i only own one record. and that's the scientist: a good album to start with - one of the tracks on that album is sampled on one of my all time fave tracks - push push by rockers hi-fi the box set is good as it has a real varied mixture of dub styles my fave dub albums at the moment would be by classic dub artists king tubby : dub like dirt 1975-77 and augustus pablo : original rockers as well as king tubby meets rockers uptown. you won't go wrong with any of them as a starter!!! these are all old skool dub - if you want newer stuff then you can't go wrong with anything by g-corp. dub plates from the elephant house vols 1 and 2 are both amazing and can be brought from the ever so friendly folk - adam & richard - at their label different drummer www.differentdrummer.co.uk. any thing on the label is amazing - i think i've got just about everything now!

Yeah, I might try and get to the London one. I wish Adem was supporting though, as I think he is elsewhere...

one of the reasons we're going to Oxford is to catch King Creosote supporting. he was ace at Green Man. have you heard any of his records? if yer enjoying the other Fence-related stuff, I'm sure you'd find plenty to like in his stuff.

I've decidied to go now, after further listening of the album. I haven't heard King Creosote, but I think he's at the London date, so I'll see him there. Was Green Man good then? Four Tet and Adem were both there weren't they?

James Yorkston was fantastic and the fence collective blew me away. best festival i've been to by a good distance - including atp... king creosote and JY were both on fantastic form last night in oxford. well worth the journey from brum. KC has the voice of an angel - absolutely outstanding evening.
