Recognising that the term "Post-Rock" covers a broad spectrum of bands, who would you say might have influenced these acts?

Fair enough, I guess. Depends how you'd define the two, plenty of cross-over if you ask me. Some of the Meddle era stuff I can see as an influence, not Mogwai neccessarily though.
First thing that came to mind though I guess.
