i've decided to delete the word 'finances' from my vocabulary and go to both of the leeds dates. mono were sublime last time (....cold mountain never sounded so good) and i've been waiting ages to see envy. 'a warm room' alone would be worth the entrance fee. then sunnO))) & boris and earth in dec. i think my ears may be dead by xmas!

great, I will see them my third time in Dresden. I guess they like the town, because they did not miss this town on their European tour yet. So I got also the chance to see "Worlds end girlfriend" (maybe two years ago?).

Mono delivered an excellent and surprisingly long show in Frankfurt (~85 minutes). The last song obviously was an unreleased track. (It is neither from one of their previous albums nor from the new compilation album).
Setlist:
Yearning The Kidnapper Bell Moonlight A Heart Has Asked For The Pleasure Lost Snow Halcyon (Beautyful Days) [New Song]

Yeah? That's excellent - the Nachtleben is my favourite venue in Frankfurt (that's not hard ), but it really is a great little spot. Great sound. That's a different setlist from what they've played in the US recently, and also from what they played in Glasgow this Friday - good to see them mixing up things! Here's the setlist from Glasgow - Yearning Lost Snow Moonlight [New Song] Halcyon (Beautyful Days) There was an early curfew, so I was surprised to get as much as that. It goes without saying that it was an excellent show. One of the best live bands out there.

I've no idea what they played here last night for two reasons - I don't know their records that well, and I left after 30 minutes.
They didn't come on until 10.45 (by which stage the venue was emptying as people left to get buses, trains etc. I'd guess that nearly half the audience had left within 15 minutes of them coming on stage). I was both too knackered to appreciate them fully, and overly familiar with their sound despite not having heard their records.
Jesu were solidly enjoyable, but not as unrelentingly heavy as I'd expected.
Mothertrucker were ok, despite having saddled themselves with a truly awful name.
