Hello Anyone who got some suggestions for what the Mogwai song titles refer to? Or does the band just give the song some random titles? On Mogwai Young Team, there is two songs which are called "Katrien" and "Tracy". On the Come On Die Young album, track two is called "Cody". I suggest that "Cody" refers to the album title Any suggestions?

I think they're mainly random, or things the band have noticed, like Burn Girl Prom Queen was a newspaper headline I believe, and Tracy is so-called because the band thinks it sounds like a Tracy Chapman song.

'Happy Songs' - they invited people to submit possible names. Not sure how many got used, but Golden Porsche certainly came that way.

Aye... But mostly they are just random titles that they pick up here and there or create in their heads... I wonder which genius came up with Kids Will be Skeletons.... love that name heh

I believe it came from a picture of someone (mogwai related)'s children dressed as skeletons, which was on the mogwai website at some point but doesn't seem to be any more
