Hiya. I've been a fan of Mogwai for some years now. I've been looking for a site where fans of Mogwai could discuss their common passion and I found this one. However, I was unsure of how to start posting. I decided on this:
My car goes from 0-60 in under 6.5 seconds, and can get to about 150 mph. Can any other 'Gwai fans better this?

Not quite, but I might be able to have you on bhp and torque. How does 168 bhp and 236 lb.ft of torque sound to you?
Huh?
Hmm?

Slow down before you kill someone.

Balanced/lightened crankshaft, racing cams & dump valve bring it to at least 230hp. Torque will be about 190ftlbs maybe. Rover 820 Vitesse. Nothing will outrun my Rover 820 Vitesse.

Cool? Cool like Imprezas or Golf GTis or BMW M5s? No danger. Nobody looks twice at these cars. Their drivers rarely have time to look twice at mine.

No thanks. I want to ride my bicycle. I want to ride it where I like.
(Actually, while we're doing this lyrics thing, let me just say that when I put 'nothing will outrun my Rover Vitesse' in a previous post, it was more as a reference to Chuck Berry's "Maybellene" ('nothing will outrun my V8 Ford') than as an idle boast.* I love Chuck Berry, me.)
*My Vitesse can still get aff it's mark, mind.
