Ah that wasn't a reply to me that was someone marvellously named acidcasual. It was me saying how I'm at last going to get my mum to listen to mogwai as she'll definitely be watching as a CND supporter

Saw most of last night's showing. Imagery is superb and Mogwai's soundtrack is pretty darn great. Probably the most downbeat music they've made - a good thing, as it fits the mood of the film perfectly. Am recording one of tonight's showings. Release of the soundtrack would be most welcome.

I'm looking forward to watching / listening again, there will no doubt be things I missed first time round.

I thought the film was absolutely stunning and the film research to compile all of those clips must have taken forever.
The soundtrack was sublime and fingers crossed there will be a future audio release.
The track some 20/21 minutes into the programme - 'The Attack'segment - highlighted Mogwai at their chillingly finest. Absolutely brilliant.
There's so much chatter and debate about the licence fee, but when you watch a documentary like 'Atomic - Living in Dread and Promise', you have to doff your cap at the BBC.
Outstanding visuals and outstanding accompanying music told a most powerful - and at times, very harrowing - story.

music and film are amazing...this time it's slightly different than "zidane" and "les revenants", barry's electronic devices and Dominic's bass are on top.I hope in a proper release.

It's also fantastic as just a listening experience, have just sat and listened without watching the visuals, whilst i was working the computer - this definitely merits a release IMO, some fantastic music in its own right.

Yes that was an excellent little read. Pleasing to see so many projects mentioned. Makes for 2016 to be quite a year.

Most excellent. Would this be mixing/mastering the recorded material for a better listening experience, or a complete re-record of the music?

Live dates to be announced soon, I need some Mogwai on my 2016 wall planner to look forward to, though tbh there a little bit of me still bruised after John's departure if you know what I mean?
