Hey cheers for the travel is dangerous tab It is really hard to figure and its defo in 6/8 btw, just sounds wierd cus 2 sets of three per bar so could be counted as four. Sorry theres my geeky streak out If anyone could give a hand in tabbing the rest of travel it would great! thanks guys! also the ithica tab was brilliant bin through it with my band just had 2figure the bass part. Wat pedals would be best to buy for playing mogwai? thnkx! Spence

I just uploaded a tab for guardians of space to tabit (http://www.tabit.net/tabs/list.php?f=2243). it's a pretty simple song so if anyone wants a text version of it i'll write one up.
I'm currently working on tabbing ratts of the capital out properly but the bass is hard to figure out so it may take a while.

Has anyone ever tabbed out the bass line to Tracy? I think it is the most incredible song and bass line. I am having a hell of a time figuring it out. Any suggestions?

I put up tabs for Auto-Rock (piano part), Emergency Trap and We're No Here on www.ultimate-guitar.comI think the reason the sound on we're no here sounds so thick and heavy is the massive amount of feedback that goes through the whole song not entirely sure though.

ive started working on a guitarpro tab of Travel is Dangerous.. going to do the drums first useing Garygs guitar part.. cept ive made a few changes. live barry plays everything on the E and B string. anyway... ill see how i go

Well, new at the board. I think it's the last chance to get a piano tab for "I know you are but what am I?" ? I play it on piano but i have no idea how to do piano tabs haha. To my memory part 1 is just continuously playing a somewhat high Csharp and going through major/major7 chords for A then B then F sharp. The part two is continuous Fsharp with switches to an E. Similar chord patter but slightly different chord structures. Since i don't have a piano where i live anymore its hard to describe.

I put up a tab full song tab for one of the guitars in Ratts of the Capital on ultimate guitar, it should show up sometime soon.
I don't think i could ever possibly tab the second guitar on it, waaaaaaayyyyy too many artificial harmonics and such throughout.
edit: I started playing the second guitar (left speaker) and its not that hard at all when you only listen to it, i'll update the tab once its up there.

Heres a basic outline for the start of BatCat. The rest is kind of just variations on this with some lead stuff on the D&G up the fret board I think. I've also figured out the main part of Precipice, i'll tab it out some time later

Hey, does anyone have or know the wereabouts of any reliable bass tabs? Most of the stuff i've found on the net is way off! Tracy and Ex-Cowboy would be much appreciated! My band sometimes jams stuff like Tracy, Helicon 1, Fear Satan, Xmas Steps when we've exhausted practicing our own set. Our bass player's version of Tracy is absolutely spot-on with Fender Precision to boot. Next time I'll have to take notice of what he's playing... if I do I'll let you know Ex-Cowboy is amazing. Surely you could figure it though?

My god there is some truly AWFUL videos of people attempting Mogwai guitar parts on youtube. The funniest one is this guy doing "We're No Here' out of tune and way off the time signature. Just about fell off me chair at work. Will hunt some links. Makes for hilarious viewing!

Ack cut the guy some slack. He's obviously a novice and deserves some kudos for attempting to play something other than smoke on the water or smells like teen spirt.

He does ask for some constructive criticism... maybe we should give it to him. Timing gave me fits for the longest time. It took me playing live with other people before I figured it out.
