guys, we are reasonably urgently looking for good audience recordings of the 3 Brooklyn shows. We need to hear the shows to decide which songs to mix for the dvd/cd and mixing every song from all 3 nights would take ages. Stick up any links that are around or PM me. Cheers. Stuart

so this will be released on cd as well as dvd? and will they contain the same tracklisting? the plan is to do a dvd/cd and probably an lp too. the tracklisting will almost definitely be different as the fim makers were pretty specific about what songs they wanted to use and i doubt we'd have the same choices. Does this mean it'll be more of a live compilation of the three nights, or what?

the 27th show was listed to be taped by nyctaper so i assume it'll be up on their site rather soon: www.nyctaper.com/thanks for the info stuart - this project seems far far bigger than i had imagined... and is the dvd purely a concert dvd or will be more of a documentary-type thing?

28th and 29th sourced, these two recordings are heading for nyctaper as well. apparently the guy who was supposed to tape 27th for nyctaper was ill.

last night was excellent...a bit slow to start, but once Jim Morrison hit the air, it was in full kill mode the rest of the show. MFMK was an epic closer...hope to get xmas steps tonight! shooting in this venue was an absolute pain, but i won't bore you w/ the details. i'll be writing up my review of the 1st show tomorrow (gotta get out on the road for northampton in a few), but for now here's a couple of teaser pics:

What time to Twilight Sad hit the stage? Like if doors open at 8pm, is it 9pm?

Eagerly awaiting Friday. This will be part 2 of a glorious year for concerts for me (finally saw Carcass in March). I had to ask my wife's doctor if she could come (she's 8 months pregnant), stressing that we are going to see a very very loud band. Doc gave the all clear and said not to worry. Hopefully Mega-Snake or something doesn't send her into labor.

Amazing show in Buffalo last night!! My first Mogwai gig. It was absolutely brilliant to be up close. No Auto Rock - ugh! Still, a minor complaint. I still can't quite believe Mogwai played Buffalo - hardly anyone who's remotely interesting comes here. Batcat was outstanding - well, it all was really. Hope the rest of the tour goes well and - Mon the Hoops! Hail Hail!

ourtrueintent.com/ATP film to be screened with performance from special guest who has curated before... Apparently it's all over Mogwai's Twitter... so it might be them, right?

with performance from special guest who has curated before... where did you hear this? I'd seen that there would be live music but nothing that high-profile. Mogwai are at home on 24th June...

Stop speculating about an English tour. I guess they would announce new shows as soon as they are confirmed by their management. "(...) we haven't even thought about our touring plans for the rest of the year" BTW: Is there an Arab Strap reunion going on? twitter.com/M_Middleton_UK

If only we'd been able to do anything other than speculate for three years... I think Malcolm Middleton is supporting Aidan Moffat & The Best Ofs. I don't think there's any suggestion of an AS reunion?
